Please wait for at least 2 days before requesting a status update on your credit card application as it may take a minimum 2 days’ time for your Application Reference Number to reflect in the system.
You can make a bill payment to your Citi Rewards Credit Card through a number of ways:
Step #1: Payment via Citibank Online: You can pay your bill through your Citibank Savings Account by clicking here.
Step #2: Payment via Citi Mobile App: Payment through your Citi Mobile App is the most convenient and easiest form of bill payment there is.
Step #3: Payment through NEFT: You can get funds credited to your credit card through the NEFT option even when you pay via a Non-Citibank account. Fund transfer request before 6 pm on weekdays and working Saturdays are credited on the same day while they are credited on the following working day if the request is made after 6 pm on non-working days.
Step #4: Payment through E-Pay: Through E-Pay, you can pay your credit card bills online even if you do not have a Citibank banking account. This normally takes around 2 working days to get credited (excluding Saturday and Sunday).
You can also pay through E-Pay via other bank websites. The banks where Citibank is currently listed as a Biller are HDFC Bank, ING Vysya Bank, State Bank of India, IndusInd Bank and Yes Bank.
Step #5: Payment through Citibank accounts such as Standing Instruction (SI): You can set up a standing instruction to pay either Minimum Amount Due (MAD) or Total Amount Due (TAD) through Citibank Online credit card payment option.
Step #6: Payment through RTGS: Payments initiated via RTGS before cut-off would be credited to the card amount by the end of the same business day. Fund transfer request before 4:30 pm on weekdays and working Saturdays are credited on the same day while fund transfer request after 4:30 pm on non-working days are credited on the following working day.
Step #7: Payment through Cheques: To make your credit card payment through cheque, please make your cheques/drafts payable to ‘Citibank credit card number’ and mention your 16-digit card number. Also, mention your name and contact number on the backside of the cheque/draft. You can drop your cheque/draft into the drop-boxes placed at Citibank ATMs. The turn-around time is 3 working days for payment made by cheques.
You may terminate your Citi Rewards Card Membership any time you want by writing to Citibank or by calling the CitiPhone helpline. The entire card outstanding dues and loans or EMI facilities linked to your credit card will immediately become due. You may continue to receive monthly statements, reflecting the actual outstanding, even after closure of the card account.
